Scott is a genius idl timbo as much he samples too much and wasnt timbo the one caught stealing a melody from a ringtone maker? what kinda ish is that. timbo called scott the piano man. like wtf is that supposed to mean? producing is all pianos and keyboards anyway. scott is way more consistent with his work. u turn the radio on and 9 outta 10 songs are gunna be produced by storch. timbo is good. but storch could roast him easy. lmao i heard his diss scottt spit a line where he was makin fun of the back of timbo's neck sayin it look like a oscar mayor frank or sum ish lmao then nox dropped a line about sampling the drumroll of his bannanah clip. she was hot compared to timbo boy band huggin and ish. timbo dissin scott with justin and nelly fertado is like bringing a vagina in a gun fight lmao

you motherfunkers are crazy

do you know what timbo did for the evolution of the drum pattern in music period...before him most hip hop or all producers did not understand the idea of percussion as a main part of the beat..

and yeah scott is hot..but he is new pretty much...and dont quote his roots or dre work...that was as a musician playing keys...thats not a producer...now as a producer he is new...

and go check tims catalogue...all his stuff...all of it...almost every beat is different....and allyah's work alone was groundbreaking....and thats why he called scott the piano man...because all he does is play the keys wow...he will have to switch it up to keep up

timbo > storch any day. sure storch has a hit or two on the radio, but timbo revolutionized hip-hop production and his stuff is always fresh.

Look, Timberland has influenced hop hip hop and many other music is produced. He has a really fresh style, and has been innovative in so many ways.

But Storch has also been out a while, and left his mark on hip hop as well. He produced those early Roots albums, worked with Dre, who many consider one of the best producers in the game today.
He also is very versatile for a producer, not saying that Timberland is but Storch makes different types of beats all over.

Anyways, i'm not choosing any sides in this thing, i'm just saying they're both great producers.

what the funk.... are you retarded?
thats like saying primo isnt hip hop because he produced a few beats for christina aguilera....
man hip hop has to go outside its community to grow...actually him working with justin or nelly can only expand hip hops sound beyond america and into every realm of music across the world because the sound has an acceptable face on it....therefore people will be more willing  to listen...whereas missy elliots ass has limits to how far she can take that sound...thats why she has to add some comedy every video to get people to look and listen

and that whole scott did the roots albums is kind of played out because the roots havent made a real good album in my opinion since things fall apart...

I like the music of em both. They just have different styles. But still i have to go for timbo, Indian flute was one of the first  tracks i heard from timbo and that ish was sick.. and new for me, from then on he had me. Scott storch has such a freakin attitude.. maybe his beats are sick but i just don't like him.

Regardless of whose side anyone might be on, they both have had a pretty significant impact you would have to be deaf, dumb and blind not to acknowledge that.

They both have pretty recognizable styles (most of the time).

I'm not sure why Timbo threw the first punch, maybe Storch was taking some of his business. If you were ghost producing with Dre, Timbo and other big names, wouldn't you want to go out on your own at some point too?

Final thought: It's hard to get heated over two multi millionaires calling each other names. They're both great in their own right so let em act like spoiled kids and make their millions, while I worry about something important like putting food on the table. :)

I couldn't really type earlier (I was in school)...But the way I look at this is that both of them have a listing that would go on for days, but when it all boils down both of them are top producers for a reason, so I personally feel no need to choose sides. So what if Scott really is a piano man, he makes tight beats, and in the same breath Timb might jack a loop or even an idea from someone but he still makes it hot. I really don't know why these dudes is beefing, is it just stupid or is it just jealousy? I don't know but maybe they should just both put out a instrumental single and see which does better.LOL..Anyways..At the end of the day their cell phones gonna be blowing up with people who want beats.....And oh yeah that boy band stuff don't matter because when you can expand youself to other types of music that makes you a better producer and expands your knowlege of music in general (I'm Still not choosing sides though)....good tpoic though Kaoh

Hhmm Timbo vs Scott.........I'd have to go with timbo. He might steal alot of sh*t, but he can flip sh*t in a way that you can't tell it's sampled.

I understand that the envy is part of the game but you and I we are not the same

Im addicted to My Love - JT ft TI - but I find that a lot of his stuff that ive heard atm is pretty much the same song altered just a bit. But then again scott does the same a bit. But I found the list of Scotts stuff a lot more impressive, not nearly just hip hop production, which means the man has major skills...

definatly goin with timbo...storch's beats are alright..but he aint timbo with it..and yea, timbo samples alot of music..i garuntee you if storch aint ever sampled a song, he at least used one song's composition to create on of his own...which is almost like sampling if you look at it that way..just that your not actually taking a part of the original to put in your song..anyway..storch is the piano man because he is primarliy a composer...he actually knows how to play the piano, read music, write music, etc...just because you are a producer does not have to mean you actually know those things..theres differences between a producer and composer...storch happens to have qualities of both tho...as far as the diss goes...you have got be absolutly brainwashed to be feelin storch's diss track towards timbo..yea the beat was alright..but dont even bring up the lyrics...ish was just horrible..storch is a decent producer, horrible MC/lyricist...goes with NOX too...as far as im concerned they didnt say ish on that track.....but its whatever..bottom line they both got my respect as PRODUCERS...timbo definatly on top of things tho

You can't old smapling against timbo it's hip-hop homie we came up from sampling.

In the rap game I'm gonna go with timbo just because he has done so much  for the game. I mean Scotto made a hit here and there but at the end of the day timbo brings the heat..

ITS ABOUT Quality > Quantity, I can make 2 million gay songs, and then someone else can make 2 good songs, whats the difference?
Yeah, Timberland tracks aint all bangaz, but storch songs are MOSTLY bangaz, not all but mostly.

Timbo is killed by storch, Piano man? The funk, at least Storch can play the keyboard good as hell,  what kind of producer is timbo if he can't even play keyboard "at all". If timbo is a good keyboardist,  he just dissed himself, haha LMAO at timbo.

TO NFX: This is how the beef started.

On the track "Make It Rain Remix"
Storch did an intro saying "I'm the best motherfunkin producer on the motherfunking planet"

Then Timberland threw the first punch at Storch for allegedly being "COCKY" cuz he's new to the mainstream game.

Then the beef started...

i dont think scott storch is arrogant i mean. he might have said he was the best on the planet but really how many producer do u know who say that. i know alot maybe i know alot of arrogant people but i dont think he really thinks that he just sayin he thinks hes good. he may be sayin hes the best but hes not meaning it literally. its like sayin u like only 1 kind of coffee but  ur not thinking about the other ones at all. then agin maybe im wong i think about ish 2 much. maybe he is arrogant lmao who gives a funk. im good i know i am i may not be the best but its better than being nothing. and with each passing month my style improves and my ish gets better and producers needa stop being arrogant expessially unknown underground producers. we may all be small droplets  but together we stir up a storm. and if we keep progressing a hurricane of new talent and swagger will be kicked into the main stream.
